Currently, I am working as an assistant professor at the Department of Czech Language, Faculty of Arts, University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. My research interests focus on the empirical syntactical analysis of linguistic units in spoken and written communication as well as the relations between neural network models and linguistic structures. My research interests include but are not limited to the following topics:

• transformer models

• complex linguistic networks

• quantitative / statistical linguistics 

• dependency grammar 

• valency / valence theory 

• lexical semantics

• text classification
